There are a variety of activities throughout the year which are
open to all ages, such as:
* Vacation Bible School - Held
for one week every summer, VBS is open for children ages 3 to 12. 2008 Bible School will be held July21st thru
the 25th from 6:00 - 8:30 PM. This years theme is Jerusalem Marketplace. The event will be followed by a picnic
on July 26th.
* Gospel Fest - Area Gospel Musician's join together for an evening of
entertainment to benefit a local person in need of financial assistance. Our choir is in charge of the food stand.
There is no admittance charge and all donations, as well as proceeds from the food stand go to benefit the benficiary.
Gospel Fest 2008 was held on June 21st for the benefit of David Knepp. David has an enlarged heart caused
by a virus. He currently has an internal defibulator and a heart assist pump. David is on the heart
transplant list and is waiting for a call that a heart is available.

Fifth Quarter - A youth band and speakers with free pizza and soda is a popular event held in the Fall following
home football games at the New Commandment Outreach Center;
* Trick-or-Treat
Pictures and Games - Held on the Orbisonia Borough Trick-or-Treat night, Trick-or-Treaters are invited to the New
Commandment Outreach Center for a treat and a game as well as the opportunity to have their picture taken for free;
* Nativity Walk - Beginning in 2004 the Walk to Bethlehem has
been held on the Keith Farm located on Rt 522 behind the Mini-Freeze. A guide leads you through Israel from the time
a census is decreed until you come upon the Babe born in the stable. More information will be available this Fall.
* Friday Night Jam - Bring your instrument or just come to enjoy
the music! Friday evenings in January, February, March and April from 6:30 to 9:00 at the New Commandment Outreach Center;
