David Knepp is a 36 year old member of our
church family who is awaiting a heart transplant ~ David is not able to venture outside his home often due to the constraints
of using battery power for his heart pump when he leaves his house. David would enjoy visits (814) 447-3885, or cards
to let him know that we are thinking about him. PO Box 358, Orbisonia, PA 17243
June 19 Update David came home on Monday, June 16th. Please
keep him in prayer as he awaits the call for a heart transplant.
June 12 Update David is doing better
and is expected to return home tomorrow. He will be waiting for a call from Hershey when a heart becomes
available.
June 7 Update David's heart is beating out of rythmn and there is a
possibility he will need additional surgery. There were plans for him to come home on Friday but this may be delayed.
David is having a really tough time please keep him in prayer.
June 2 Update David
had a second surgery Thursday evening due to "leakage". On Sunday morning he had additional blood tranfusions.
He is asking to be up and his color looks good. The drainage tubes are still in place and causing him some pain.
May 29: 3:00 PM Update David came through surgery fine. He is still in
critical condition and needs watching for a little while but so far so good. Keep up the prayers.
David is
currently a patient at Hershey Medical Center. He will have a pump inserted beside his heart to help it pump on May 29th.
This will move David to the top of the Heart Transplant list.
