Phillip May Ministries has dug a well  in Monkey Bush, a small community 20 miles north of Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone.  The 52 foot deep well , called  The Jesus Well of Living Water, is located on an acre of ground owned by The New Miracle of Praise Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Harold Thomas .  The New Miracle of Praise Ministry hopes to begin building a block church building in January 2008 on the ground next to the well.  To contact May Ministries, email philmay@verizon.net or call 814-641-7364. To the right is a picture of Pastor Jacob Gbateh and 15 orphans that live around his church in the Lungi area near the airport.  The baby he is holding was given to him when he made a hospital call.  The mother could not take care of the infant and gave it to him.  May Ministries sent $1,000.00 to buy rice to feed the children and to help pay for their schooling.  In Sierra Leone only those who can pay can get an education.  May Ministries' dream after securing land for Pastor Jacob is to dig a well and build a church/school on the ground.  Then they will need to locate a teacher.  They are requesting prayer for direction and finances to do this work for the Lord.
